WOOD-RIDGE
-- It's not supposed to be easy to win state tournament games
and Wood-Ridge, a team with two freshmen and a sophomore among
its five starters, learned that first hand on Wednesday night.
The fourth-seeded Blue Devils sweated out a one-point win, 65-64,
over Midland Park and earned a trip to the North 1, Group 1 state
sectional semifinals where they will play at No. 1 Boonton on
Friday night.
Wood-Ridge
head coach Ed Rendzio joins us to talk about what happened and
what lies ahead for his team in this Multimedia Spotlight, an
NJS.com Special Presentation.
